This course is for you if...

  • You've been singing for many years and would like to improve your tone quality, breath support, and vocal range.
  • You love to sing, but have never taken a voice lesson.
  • You sing in a choir, musical theater, as a solo singer, or just for fun.
  • You've taken a break from singing and want to get your voice back in shape.
  • You'd love to take lessons, but weekly voice lessons are not in your budget.
  • You're an aging singer who feels less confident and would like to get back some confidence in your singing again.
  • You'd like to learn more about singing in general.

Vocal Restoration + Improvement is a 5-week, on-line singing course designed to help singers improve their singing voices and establish a daily singing practice to build stronger and more efficient singing stamina.

The course helps you by:

  • Singing daily, which will improve your overall stamina and let you practice using your singing voice in the privacy of your own home
  • Improving your breath management
  • Expanding your vocal range in both directions
  • Connecting your voice to your body
  • Helping you experience more freedom in your singing

Includes:  35 Daily Singing Practice videos (~15-20 minutes each) that invite you to:

  • Welcome and connect with your Breath
  • Prepare  and connect with your Body through gentle stretching and functional movement
  • Awaken and connect with your voice through Humming, Straw Work and Easy Onset Exercises
  • Engage and connect more deeply with your voice through in-depth and expansive Vocal Exercises

Vocal Restoration + Improvement includes teaching videos that go in-depth with each of the four Core Elements of Singing: breath, body, waking up your voice, and expanding your voice.

For an additional cost, Voice Checks may be arranged directly with Tracy DePue to help assess your current singing capacity and what goals you have during the course.  Voice Checks can also be used as a "before and after" experience to measure your progress.  More information can be found in the FAQ section of the course curriculum.

SAMPLE DAILY VIDEO:  In the Course Curriculum below, you're invited to preview Week One - Day 2 of the daily singing videos.  This will give you a good sample of how it works.  It is recommended that you fully engage in the sample to get the full effect of the experience.

NOTE: This course is not intended to replace vocal therapy.  If you are under the care of a physician for any vocal issues, please consult with your physician prior to engaging with the singing material in this course.

This is a wonderful course to help develop the habit of working with your voice. Since you like to sing and maybe aren't a soloist but love being in a choir, this course will help you sing to the best of your ability. You get to sing solo in the privacy of your home with no criticism while doing the exercises and can concentrate on areas that need work. There is variety in the exercises so you won't get bored and enough difficulty to keep you engaged but not so much that you give up altogether. Stick with it and you will make changes to what you initially did singing to improve your voice. In the end you sing better so your congregation or audience will also enjoy what your group sings more.
